Retail

Carpet Fair, Baltimore, MD

In 1989, this 70,000 sq. ft. retail store and warehouse sustained fire, smoke and water damage in excess of 80% of the total footprint of the building. Full rolls of carpet were removed from 25 foot high racking by the salvor prior to restoration of the overhead structural components, as well as the storage racking; all while new product was being delivered on a daily basis.  Careful scheduling of the removal of stock, cleaning of the overhead components, and managing delivery of incoming goods for sale complicated the scheduling efforts.
