Castings generated from this plant were used for aerospace application in turbine fan jet engines for Rolls Royce. Decontamination from a fire in 2006 consisted of detail cleaning of the residual corrosive soot fallout, and chemical fire suppression residue to the structural surfaces and manufacturing machinery. Time sensitive phased work completed using detailed schedules and critical timelines, insuring minimal loss of production deliverables.
