Murdock Engineering, Irving, TX

Murdock Engineering was an aerospace component provider specializing in high tech, low tolerance metal extrusions used in the manufacture of military aircraft.  In 1982, the 600,000 sq. ft. facility sustained moderate to heavy damage as a result of direct fire and highly corrosive soot fallout predominantly affecting many of their precision, close tolerance line manufacturing equipment.  Not only was the entire structure cleaned and decontaminated, but also the line equipment was fine cleaned utilizing a proprietary process to eliminate the corrosive effects of the contamination.
