Sheraton New Orleans, New Orleans, LA

As a result of wind driven rain from Hurricane Katrina in 2005, which penetrated the exterior of the property, a significant portion of the guest rooms and common areas sustained water damage and apparent microbial growth.  Restoration efforts consisted of structural drying, minor demolition of AMG impacted surfaces, and a thorough cleaning and treatment of the affected areas.  In addition, as the Sheraton was used to house government officials including ATF, the FBI and other agencies, temporary water and power services were provided in order to occupy the facility in the near term for critical recovery agencies.
