MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX

The basement of this research hospital was flooded from Tropical Storm Allison in 2001. The basement housed medical records and 100,000 tissue samples of different cancer tumors encased in paraffin wax. Wrote the scope of work for the restoration of the documents, as well as the restoration of the structure and dehumidification plan. Also developed a unique method to transport, disinfect and keep reliable all tissue samples. The value of saving the tissue samples was immeasurable.
